Jet-Lube® EZY-PUMP FRAC VALVE SEALANT is ideal for hydraulic fracturing operations requiring resistance to hydrochloric acid, methanol and other hydrocarbons. It is pumpable to temperatures as low as -30°F (-36°C) when used with a high-pressure lubricator using a low pour point oil and viscosity building polymer which has little detrimental effect to low temperature pumpability. It is formulated with boundary lubricants including graphite, molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and rust inhibitors. The MoS2 enhances sealing and lubrication by burnishing into scratches effectively renewing surfaces. Being heavier than oil allows the product to more readily displace water and residues from the body of gate valves. H2S inhibitors provide longer product life in sour gas service. EZY-PUMP FRAC VALVE SEALANT is resistant to aliphatic hydrocarbons and lowers the torque necessary for smooth valve operation while protecting internal surfaces from scoring and galling.

APPLICATIONS: Recommended for use in valve applications requiring aliphatic hydrocarbon resistance or where high and low temperature extremes are encountered. (Note: Not for use with oxygen for strong oxidizers such as hydrogen peroxide or sulfuric acid.)
